Initiated by parents and educators, One Book One World is a group of dedicated volunteers who see a need in raising awareness of diverse cultures for children at a younger age.

Ethnic stereotype and racial discrimination often come from lack of awareness.

Children’s books are one of the first things that help shape a child’s world. By providing a more comprehensive selection of books that feature authentic minority culture, we hope our next generations have a chance to learn about the world from an unbiased language.

To do this, we work with K-12 schools, assisting those in need of quality resources. We will also partner with education organizations to provide activities and workshops that further explore topics including but not limited to ethnic studies, identity pride, self-expression, etc.
